She married and had a son. In middle age she developed a neurological disease which increasingly restricted her activities. She continued to create art until two years before she died in 2002. Thing is I produced several paintings as we went, so I must not have been cocooned the whole way. Getting that new tent made the trip wonderful for me, a place to escape the monster size Oregon mosquitos at night. Do you remember the hundreds of red reflector dots Sue stuck all over the back of her new car? What happened to her, I wonder?
